Our Executive Board

BREA's board is comprised of individuals who are passionate about real estate and honest in their interactions with others. We have varied levels of prior experience and different interests, but we are united by our desire to pursue real estate, connect with like minds, and help others. We are excited to be a part of this organization and pledge to share plenty of positive moments with our members.

Ernesto Sanchez-Gress - Co-President

Ernesto is a fourth-year Political Science Major with a minor in Portuguese Language. Born in Mexico but raised in Ridgefield, Connecticut, Ernesto uses his multicultural background in order to connect with a diverse group of individuals and see all situations from various perspectives. Furthermore, his Hispanic heritage has provided him with the multi-lingual ability to communicate in Spanish and English professionally, as well as Portuguese and Italian conversationally. Ernesto hopes to use his passion for forming and maintaining long-term relationships, as well as his ardent interest in US and international real estate and economic markets, to foster a strong career in commercial real estate. In his free time Ernesto enjoys weight-lifting, playing billiards and golf, and exploring the world through hikes. LinkedIn


Pratik Ramesh - Co-President

Pratik is a fourth-year Mathematics/Economics Major with a Specialization in Computing. Born and raised in Bangalore, India, Pratik moved to Los Angeles to attend UCLA. Having most recently interned in Los Angeles at RCLCO as a summer analyst, Pratik has also interned at firms in India and Singapore, developing a strong interest in global market trends and their impact on local markets. Pratik hopes to combine his knowledge of real estate markets with his passion for technology to build his career in commercial real estate. In his free time, Pratik enjoys watching soccer and basketball, traveling, and playing the guitar. LinkedIn



Dhruv Korde -Director of Operations

Dhruv is a fourth year studying Business Economics with a minor in Accounting. He was born and raised in Mumbai, India before moving to Los Angeles. He most recently interned at Brookfield Asset Management and worked on their acquisitions team. His interests lie at the intersection of economics, finance and real estate primarily capital strategies and trend-forecasting. Dhruv has also interned at firms in his home country and this allows him to better understand global markets and their diverse methods of operations. He is very
excited to work with students and help them discover the true potential of a career in real estate. In his free time Dhruv enjoys reading, soccer, traveling and playing the drums. LinkedIn


Hunter Iwig - VP of Operations

Hunter is a fourth-year Bruin that will graduate in the spring with a degree in Economics. His love for architecture is what initially drew him to the world of real estate and he has since developed a passion for the industry. Hunter has previous experience interning for luxury residential and multifamily brokerage firms in the greater Los Angeles area. He spent this past summer at JLL as a member of their industrial tenant representation team in the Inland Empire. There, he assisted his team in locating industrial space for established clients such as Walmart, Wayfair, and Burlington Coat Factory. Aside from real estate, Hunter enjoys traveling, golfing, and watching football on the weekends. LinkedIn


Alice Schweiger - VP of Operations

Alice is a second year majoring in business economics. She is from San Diego but loves learning about and exploring Los Angeles’s many diverse neighborhoods. Alice’s curiosity about real estate has burgeoned during her time in BREA and she hopes to work in real estate finance upon graduation. As part of the BREA leadership board, she looks forward to sharing her passion for real estate and working closely with industry professionals to make BREA a jumping-off place for students’ real estate careers. Currently, Alice works for PMI Properties, a boutique real estate investment firm where she helps manage a varied portfolio of commercial and residential properties. In her free time, Alice loves to hike, bake, and go on road trips. LinkedIn

Alexa Luckow - Director of Professional Relations

Alexa is a third year student studying political science. Born and raised in Newport Beach, CA, Alexa considers LA a home away from home. Alexa has interned for various sectors of the business industry, including marketing, finance and tech. Most recently Alexa has interned at PMI Properties, a boutique real estate investment firm with commercial and residential properties where she has been interning since she was a freshman. This is Alexa’s third year in BREA and she is excited to mentor others who are interested in real estate. Besides being on the board of BREA, Alexa currently holds positions in other clubs such as manager for the  Women in Business Tech and Entrepreneurship Board, Fashion and Student Trends blog committee, and in the past Blackstone Launchpad’s Entrepreneurship Program. In her free time, Alexa likes to go to the beach and hang out with friends. LinkedIn


Andrea Echols - VP of Professional Relations

Andrea is a graduating senior studying Communications with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Heavily interested in interior design, business, and home decor, Andrea was originally intrigued by the luxury real estate market. Finding that Los Angeles was the perfect place to explore that market, she engaged in multiple internships to grow a depth of real estate knowledge in the luxury market and beyond. She will be receiving her real estate agent license in September of 2017 in order to expand her experiences before graduating in the Spring. Currently, she and her colleague's business, Empower Business Solutions, provides social media marketing, brand development/management, wholesale printing, event planning, and other services to real estate companies and other organizations.  Passionate about entrepreneurship as well, Andrea hopes to couple her business/brand development skills with her love of real estate and one day revolutionize the industry. Salman Tailor - VP of Professional Relations

Salman is a third-year Business Economics student from Buena Park, CA. Most recently, he interned at Opus Financial Partners, an investment bank in Irvine, CA where he mostly focused on sell-side M&A transactions. He has also interned at FocalPoint Partners, a boutique investment bank in Los Angeles. Salman is passionate about finance as a whole, specifically real estate and investment banking. He is excited to share his passions with other students interested in finance, as well as work with industry professionals to help give BREA students a well-rounded experience.  In his free time, Salman loves to play basketball, play billiards, swim, hike, and hang out with friends.


Zach Pierce - Director of Finance

Zach is a fourth-year student studying Business Economics. He is from Irvine, CA and has grown fond of Los Angeles and wants to continue working here after college. He most recently interned for Kennedy Wilson in their multifamily investments division. He is very excited about the opportunity to help students enter the real estate world. In his free time, Zach likes to go camping, watch Netflix, and play basketball. LinkedIn


Jin Fan - VP of Finance

Jin is a third-year student studying Mathematics-Economics. She is from Singapore, and has grown to love Los Angeles as her second home. Most recently, she has been interning with Salem Partners LLC, an LA-based boutique investment bank, in their real estate division. She is excited to take her passion for real estate one step further by being part of the BREA leadership board, reaching out to both her fellow schoolmates at UCLA and professionals in this dynamic industry. In her free time, Jin likes to cycle, watch Game of Thrones, and walk dogs at the Westside German Shepherd Rescue. LinkedIn


Alexander Nezhat - Director of Professional Development

Alexander (Zander) Nezhat is a fourth-year Business Economics major with a minor in Accounting. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Zander came to Los Angeles for college and has loved getting to know the city. He recently completed an internship with Eastdil Secured where he worked as a summer analyst. Now, he is interning for a Risk Management Company called Black Diamond Sentinel where his primary task is evaluating mortgage and macroeconomic data in order to construct Key Risk Indicators that will foreshadow an increase in the number of defaults in the residential mortgage market. Over the past few years, Zander has developed a passion for real estate and is excited to continue furthering his experience in this industry. He is looking forward to helping others build upon their real estate knowledge through his role on the executive board. In his free time, Zander enjoys watching football, traveling and playing squash. LinkedIn


Godwin Rayen - VP of Professional Development

Godwin is a third-year Economics and Statistics double major. Growing up in the emerging real estate markets of Dubai and South India, Godwin has amassed a wealth of knowledge about commercial and industrial real estate. Godwin has previously interned in the venture capital and EB5 industries. Godwin interned at a small cap hedge fund
called Kirkland Messina. Godwin hopes to employ his knowledge and experiences to the intersection of real estate and financial securities. Godwin likes playing poker, motorcycle racing and camping. LinkedIn
